Celia Mason-Ferguson received the 2025 Margot Bradley Service Award at the
Deimel Legacy Ball last night at Christ the King Catholic Church. We thank Celia for the
work she does to support St. Benedict. She has been a member since 2010 and
volunteers as a counter, minister of communion as she visits the sick and shut-
in, Lector, and she is on a team that cleans the church. God bless her for her
service.
St. Benedict the Moor will host the Columbus Deanery CCW Spring Luncheon on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 11am. All women of the CCW are invited to attend.

Friday, July 12th. The Most Reverend Stephen D. Parkes, D.D., Bishop of Savannah, was the guest
speaker and St. Benedict The Moore was well represented.

St. Benedict The Moor parishioners enjoyed an outing to the Festival of Lights at Calloway Gardens. The group enjoyed fun and fellowship, caroling and a magnificent light show.
Members of St. Benedict, along with Fr. Patrick Otor, attended the Mass celebrating National Black Catholic Month at St James Catholic Church in Savannah. Our poster presentation depicted our stained glass windows of black saints.
