The Community of St. Benedict the Moor gathers for Sunday Eucharist at 10:30 AM. as we break the bread of God's Word, and the bread of Eucharist. Sunday is the day of the Lord, as we celebrate the Eucharist as a Church-Family, we often gather for fellowship at St. Benedict Community Hall on the second Sunday of each month.
During the course of the year, the Sunday Sabbath offers us opportunity for adult catechesis as we grow in our Catholic Christian Faith and how we may share it with family and friends. As a Church, we welcome guests as we welcome Christ at our door. Our Hospitality Committee will acknowledge your presence and offer you a St. Benedict gift bag.
Everyone is welcome to join in the recitation of the Rosary that begins at 10:05 AM prior to the celebration of the Eucharist. Ask an usher for a Rosary booklet to follow this devotional prayer. You might want to join us during the time of the pandemic, when we pray the Rosary seeking a cure and vaccine from the pandemic and from the life threatening effects of COVID-19. Simply dial this local number before 8 PM each evening: 706 - 894 - 9969 on the Rosary Line.
Those who are able to join us during the week, we have just moved our Mass time to 12 Noon with hopes that it will be convenient for those working, or those who have retired and would enjoy sleeping in a little later. The Noon Day Mass is celebrated from Monday through Friday. And on Saturday, the early bird special is at 8:00 AM with the Sacrament of Reconciliation following. Remember,
"the FAMILY that prays together, stays together!"
