Outreach Program 

           at St. Benedict the Moor

      The Outreach Program is a ministry of St. Benedict the Moor Church for the past 34 years serving the Wynnton neighborhood.  In keeping with the mandate of the Gospel: Matthew 25; 31-46 Jesus said: "for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me..." 

St. Benedict Outreach Program has been committed to reaching out to Jesus in our sisters and brothers in human need. In keeping with the mission of the Church and our patron, Saint Benedict the Moor, we provide hot meals on Monday and Thursday from 12pm-12:45 pm. In addition, we offer emergency food, utility and clothing assistance by appointment.  Volunteers and donations are welcomed and appreciated.

During this time of COVID-19 pandemic, we are collaborating with "Feeding the Valley" on Thursday morning at 9:30 AM as a site for food distribution.  Our food giveaway boxes have the fixings for a balanced meal.  From meat and dairy, to fresh vegetables and fruits,  pasta and cheese.
