“Remember your creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come And the years approach of which you will say, I have no pleasure in them; Before the sun is darkened, and the light, and the moon, and the stars, while the clouds return after the rain” (Ecclesiastes 12:1-2). At every stage in our life we belong to God and we are called upon as such to serve Him. There is a recognizable tendency in some young people to cut off from God. Not knowing God has a terrible consequence and we do not want this to happen to our Youth. In our Parish after our children have made their First Holy Communion and received the Sacrament of Confirmation whether they are still Middle School or not, we begin to groom them as youth for the Lord. Our Parish Youth program covers them until they graduate from High School. It is our desire to bring and keep them close to our Lord Jesus, their God. All we package in their program are in our effort to help them realize that God is their CREATOR AND HIM ALONE THEY MUST FOLLOW AND WORSHIP in all things and at all times. We prepare them to be spiritually equipped to plunge into the wider society when they graduate from High School. We know out there they will encounter clashes of interest, chaos, depravity and irreligiousity. We want to assist them in making choices that will give glory and honor to God. We are delighted that Dr. Brett Dawson is our Parish Youth Coordinator. She knows our children, she has been around them and our Parish Youth know they are in good hands.
